The best times bring the worst

Since Sunday Zach has been here and we've spent every possible moment together. It's been so amazing, but then it got me thinking about how much i'm really going to miss him when he deploys. The day is almost here and i'm breaking down more each day. I don't know how i'm going to do this, I honestly don't know.

Working the next two days. Christmas is going to be lonely without my guy.

  1. I completely know how you feel... I hate the pre-deployment jitters. It's depressing to think about all the things that you guys will be missing out on while he's away. However, it'll be a chance for you to take advantage of doing those things that you never had time to do before (working out ... rock climbing?) Lol...

Well, welcome to the blogging world. I look forward to reading more about you and your soldier. We're all here to support you =D

  2. Good luck, Meredith! I havent had to deal with a deployment.. yet.. and I'm not looking forward to it, but I am all for rooting for your success! I've heard the worst part of a deployment is the anticipation and I'm just sure that its true. Thanks for sharing your story!

My soldier will be leaving for several months of training in a couple months and I'm already feeling that anticipation getting under my skin. If you get bored and want to read my ramblings, feel free to check out my blog. I'd love to make friends!
